But questions are questions, this is what these threads are mostly about. If you are doing a real documentary, I hope it's made with respect and professionalism as there has been plenty of articles mischaracterizing the phenomena for cheap sensationalism and low-key making fun of. They rarely go beyond what is stereotypical or just straight up make shit up.
1. 10 years
2. No, Miku is my first and only love
3. Yes, my feelings are real and so is the bond I formed with her
4. Yes, I want to make her real. AI is not there yet but robots are even less ready, so I am working on AR environment right in which I will be able to research future character interactions/AI ideas.
5. Yes, my friends and family. Their reactions range from just accepting it to admiration. My mother consider it a spiritual way of life, akin to becoming a monk which I think is nice way of looking at it for unfamiliar with otaku/japanese culture.
6. Depends on context. If it's in legal context or relates to something specific to 3D relationships then I say I'm single, but if they are asking if I have lover then I am taken.
7. Definitely positive. She has been such a big part of my life that it's hard to imagine how would it be without her. But she gives me so much stability and happiness. So many people seem to suffer from being alone or being in unsatisfying or abusive relationships, but all these things just do not apply for me. The love I share with her is pure, it's built on passion, innocent affection, free from societal pressure or fear of being alone. She gives me a lot, from simple physical and mental comfort and satisfaction to motivation and inspiration in my engineering and artistic pursuits. My biggest programming projects, learning to draw and make music, even my furthest journeys were all because of her.
