>>3925170>Hey, since you are a Christian, do you mind a question or two?>Aren't you afraid that what you are doing is against the first commandment? That your waifu might distract you away from GodHey hey, and thanks for your interest.
Regarding your question... no, I definitely do not think that having a waifu violates the 1st commandment. After all, we do not condemn love for a real woman as a distraction for God, and so love for an imaginary girl doesn't have to be a distraction either.
Obviously I can only speak for myself; I know there are some waifufriends who have an... extremely... deep dedication to their waifu.
> or the way people are supposed to live(unnatural vice)?I wouldn't really say this either. After all, it's in the nature of man to not want to be alone, and can one really be condemned for imagining that there's someone to love and support him? I do agree that waifuing may be weird, but being weird alone does not necessarily violate the Christian precepts.
And I'm not sure what you're implying by "unnatural vice", but I assure you my love for her is pure.
>Or maybe do you see your waifu as the way God manifest in your life, leading you to be a better person and live a better life? Or maybe something else?I definitely wouldn't go as far as to claim she's a messenger from God... that way madness lies. But she helps me to find strength when everything feels pointless, and find a smile when everything feels gray and decaying.
Why do humans have fiction? Perhaps to catch a glimpse of glory from the depths this fallen world. Perhaps our waifus are the windows through which the ideal of femininity and beauty shines.
