Regarding your question... no, I definitely do not think that having a waifu violates the 1st commandment. After all, we do not condemn love for a real woman as a distraction for God, and so love for an imaginary girl doesn't have to be a distraction either.
Obviously I can only speak for myself; I know there are some waifufriends who have an... extremely... deep dedication to their waifu.
