>>3239842Pretty good, actually. Got a lot of yard work done earlier this evening. Looks like a tropical depression is heading my way this week, so this might have been the only chance I get.
I probably felt the same way you do now around this time last year after Rise & Shine came out. That still hasn't really led anywhere, so I'm not getting excited just yet. But still, I remain cautiously hopeful, mainly because I think the alternative is worse and also because I feel somewhat reassured by this past week: I'm not knocking her at all, but if Little Miss "LOL GG" can be portrayed as a serious hero who gets to save the day, I think that bodes very well for everyone else awaiting their turn. I'll feel more validated once I get something I actually want, like seeing Pharah and Ana on screen together or seeing this little angel accomplish something meaningful again. Until then, well, I've come this far, and I'm sure I can make it the rest of the way.
And as long as we're on the subject again, I’d like to offer one last piece of advice that has helped me tremendously over the past year, and then I'll try to be quiet.
If you're unsatisfied with the current state of affairs, now would be a really good time to rediscover something you used to love, just to give yourself a consistently enjoyable pick-me-up when you need it. I, for example, have been reading a lot and playing through some old RPGs I used to love, and that's proven very cathartic for me when I've needed it.
