The essence is the same of course, which is why I presume the quote in the OP was intended as a replacement for the former in UBW, as said quote comes after Rin asks Shirou to enter the alliance with her, which doesn't occur in that route. I actually dismissed using that quote in an OP after considering it for some time because I thought it was... too directly romantic for lack of a better term. Pics with Shirou (and other characters) will always welcome but dunno I guess I feel like the OP should always be Rin and Rin's alone, which is why I'm reluctant to use a lot of really good lines from Shirou lest the OP become more about the couple than Rin herself. I've since decided I'm gonna use that quote in a future OP though probably not the next one since it's too similar to this one, but my thinking has essentially remained the same. I would use Shirou's confession for a Valentine's thread but outside of this... eh. You know I really am overthinking this. Won't be bothering with the numbers lol. Should just enjoy Rin I guess.
