But another important point of this: how can a triforce user, one who has seen Zelda on multiple occasions, who possesses great power and many other things, not be able to recognize Sheik as being Zelda? It's simple. Sheik was a new creation dreamt up by Zelda and realized by the triforce of wisdom (much like how Ganon could turn into a monster with no humanity).
However, we know that Sheik carries Zelda's memories. It is hinted at extremely strongly in the Manga and is outright stated at one point in Hyrule Warriors. Sheik remembers the peaceful times Zelda once had in her memories and wants to bring back peace. AND it is very clear that Sheik disappears once she transforms back to being Zelda. If she were just a disguise, wouldn't some of her mannerisms still show up? Zelda was Sheik for 7 whole years after all.
I have, with logic and reasoning, with help from many source materials, established Sheik was created through magic from the triforce, utilizes that triforce, is her own soul, but still has Zelda as her body/vessel, and has Zelda's memories.
>that's contrary to the general consensusThat does not matter one bit. People can be wrong. Sheik isn't a character people put much thought into, so it makes sense. If people were given a reason to do so and really think about it, they would agree with me.
>there's no hard proof either wayWhat needs to happen? Do we need her character creator to say something? Can we not use the evidence given to us and logic?
>>3434238I have not. If I start to like a character because she acts like Sheik, I would feel like I don't love Sheik for being Sheik. I would just love certain traits. I'm not sure how others feel about this, but that's how I feel.
