I played Magia Record for a bit today. I’m blown away by the level of needless complexity and window dressing designed to gate keep getting the characters you want. It’d have been more down with this if it was like the old Meguca game apps, where you paid for Grief Seeds and THAT WAS IT. I’d also be game if I could just pay directly to unlock Homura, outfits for Homura, and accessories or voiced lines by Homura. As it stands, the monotony of Magia Record and the lack of a reasonable path to what I’m looking for (more original Homura content), has me looking to make my own alternative.
