Moreover, I'm pretty thick skinned and I try to stay upbeat. Playful teasing isn't a dealbreaker for me; some people would probably consider it more healthy or exciting to be able to tease each other and joke around like that.
And as the other anon said, traveling is exciting. The adventure alone is worth it, moreso if you've got a companion like Holo.
