>>2943669I guess by forced dramma you're reffering to the Wunder's crew antagonistic attitude towards Shinji and their the inability (especially on Misato's or Asuka's part) or just them being too stubborn to explain to Shinji the reason for it and the general poor comunication between them.
If so then i kinda agree as it really bugged me as well. Like MISATO WHY CAN'T YOU JUST STOP KICKING HIM LIKE A RAGDOLL AND JUST ANSWER HIS QUESTIONS AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!
But seeing Shinji for the first time since awakenig being happy with the person that actually showed him the consequences of his actions in the end of 2.22 and still accepting him as he is and Shinji's growing feelings towards him pretty much renders all my already few complains about 3.33 insignificant.
I also found the atmosphere of the movie, especially from the point where Kaworu and Shinji meet rather entransing. As for the timeskip and plot overall i loved them and think they complement to the atmosphere of the movie. Also fantastic soundtrack!
tl;dr strangely charming atmophere, Kaworu x Shinji, and beautiul music = <3
