Oh dear.
My two cents:
I think Lilly looks absolutely lovely the way she is, but if she wanted to have her hair cut, (which she may one day, humans do that sort of thing) I wouldn't ask her not to.
Especially if it was any one the hair choices in OP's image.
My god she looks wonderful in all forms. Also, bed-head Lilly is best hair Lilly.
