In any case, a REi thread does include Rei from the rebuild movies and there's no reason why she can't be posted in the thread. You can't create a thread for every different movie or episode of a show.
Have some Rei. They messed up Asuka, it sounds like they messed up Rei, I wonder what else they can do to make Rebuild even less like the original Evangelion which got Gainax on its feet.
