Both Touji or Shinji would lead her to becoming such a opporbious woman, that's for sure; the one for being a complete knucklehead without charisma (Touji), and the other for being a psycho perverted boy, who would end up killing her out of rage, most likely (Shinji). None of them could provide Asuka with the emotional stability and happiness she needs so desperately.
But, anyway, at least give her a chance. She might find someone better out there. Instrumentality gave humanity a chance to improve (although it's more than likely that humans will repeat their previous mistakes) and people will come back to life to that devastated post-apocalyptic beach.
Or, in AUs, we have the example of 'Ayanami Rei Ikusei Keikaku with Asuka Hokan Keikaku' in which Asuka managed to meet someone suitable for her.
