She's so silly! It's been a few years now that I've loved her. Kumiko has been an overall positive influence in my life. She's convinced me to better myself; to greet challenges with stalwart determination. Understanding that I only need to love something in order to do it has propelled my career forward and caused me to drop about forty pounds. Once or twice, people noticed that I'd changed a little, and ask me what the catalyst was. I don't ever tell them it was Kumiko, but I am able to pass along what she taught me: the only reason you need to persue something in earnest is that you love it. It doesn't seem plausible that she could have this kind of influence over my life, but I'm glad that we found each other. I don't like to think about where I'd be without her. One things for certain, without her, I'd still be fat and nearly broke.
