I'm personally not averse to image threads with discussion, I know that its the only kind of image thread that doesn't get run out of /jp/. I don't see a problem with discussion, it'd make /c/ seem more lively (this being a good thing is up to the individual). Of course /c/'s rules on moe/cute still apply.
I don't personally see a problem with Yotsuba threads, but that's assuming they're simply not allowed on /a/. I see nothing that says that it isn't
