Even when there is a higher degree of conflict later on nothing irrevocably bad that happens to her. At least nothing that would require a long time to heal at a physical and emotional level. Although some of the side characters weren't really that lucky.
There were some parts that kind of annoyed me but compared to some of the things other characters in other series had to go through it's nothing to rant about. I'm sure she'd agree with that.

Considering her nature and disposition I think she would make a good performance as a parental figure, even though I don't think she'd ever be the kind of parent to burden her children.
