>>4076919> Nasu, previously starving actress on the payroll, and nasu.Almost everyone involved with the character has mentioned her lack of aging.
> She is who she is needed to be scene by scene, dependent on the plot progression or pandering goals at that point in time, with a lack of internal character consistencyCompletely untrue. But by all means, explain how Saber differs in her battle with beserker to her battle with Gilgamesh at the end of the route? Or explain the difference between her character during the Illya castle escape and her training with Shirou the days after? Trying to claim lack of consistency and then hoping your opponent will just agree won’t get you anywhere. The story has a very set structure of development for the character, and she remains consistent throughout, even when repressed emotions are brought up.
> Feeble rationalization of what amounts to simple pandering. No amount of "emotional repression" is going to make a war veteran shy and bashful about holding hands. It boils down to you not understanding people then. Emotional repression and lack of self confidence can cause even the most stoic of figures to change. Source, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. This is used throughout media. I also have close family who served, and they act like children. Not to mention, I’m pretty sure your family weren’t never aging teenager, which again, will have a varying degree of effect. Do not try and snuff out possibilities of what experience can do to a person based on what you’ve seen alone.
> I disagree about the extent of requisite adequacy given the substance of the argument at hand. You shouldn’t, because it’s taken from the story with detailed explanation. Your refusal to accept facts is again based on your own personal preference and elect choice to ignore established character lore.
