I like the art style and the aesthetics and I also like how there is a creepiness to the plot at times, as in you know or feel like something is off but you can't put your finger on it. I sort of identify a lot of what Lain went through in the anime and game, if you want to take it literal and from a mental health standpoint, so it's kinda comforting in a way.
Not saying that SEL is the best show ever, but it's a show I can watch time and again and enjoy it every time.
