The show was a chance for Yuki to get her own time to shine where she was just a normal girl. The somber robotic shy girl thing is overplayed and would have made for a rather boring show. The spin off was very different from Melancholy and I loved it for that.
Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan was a cute show about a cute nerd doing cute things and that was exactly what it should have been.
