I also consider that an endearing trait of her. Since her being reckless by trying to take on enemies by herself was the main reason people didn't want to work with her.
But even when she fails she still listens to her friends and tries again, which is a testament to her perseverance and strength of will.
5. Mai is one of the strongest people I've seen. She lost her parents on an accident when she was a kid, then she became separated from her younger sister around the same time. Despite all this she was able to form her own set of beliefs as well as setting a goal for herself, becoming stronger without needing to rely on anyone. This can be seen in her parole activation chant during her fight with Ruupa who had previously taken on Mai's appearance. During that time she used Mai's previous parole activation in order to mock her and throw her off. Thanks to the bonds she formed with the previous captain she was able to learn about the importance of camaraderie and friendship. That's why she was so upset the moment she heard her friend was attacked by a phantom and had her memories stolen.
Despite everything she has always worked hard on her own, becoming stronger and using her power to protect others. She has never allowed any failure to discourage her even when she was at the bottom of her club in terms of score.
It's no wonder she is such a special person.
>>3541061I've always liked Kyoani shows. I think her series is about average, and not as bad as some people claim it to be. She doesn't appear in any of them though. It would create some problems if she did considering the nature of her world.
>>3541093Can't be worse than a level. 3 phantom, right?
>>3541178Alright.
>>3541330I've been a bit busy making a digital painting for her birthday so I haven't even thought about that. Although it would be fun to design a Halloween themed illustration. I already have some cool Halloween phantom designs so they can be the secondary focus.
