There are other animated image formats he could have picked, he chose a video format. I'm fine with limited file lengths, keeps server space down, but even then it wouldn't be like Youtube because the content disappears. Plus, they could limit it to certain boards if that became an issue, like how .swf is only for /f/.
>>2205568Read the news posts. Discussion boards and fileshare board are kill. They're technically read-only so you can still check them out. Hardly anyone knew about them since they're hidden from the default navigation so they were actually pretty good.
