>>3330525I don't know if you're saying I'm wrong or not, but I didn't say it's not mentioned at all. Might be remembering wrong on how often it's brought up, though, since I haven't played it since it first released in English.
However, from my memory, I don't remember hating the Salieri aspect of Maho's relationship with Kurisu in the VN (outside of Kurisu being revealed to apparently love listening to classical music while doing science stuff), while I hated how often the Salieri stuff was brought up in the anime. Perhaps that's just because I had already hated the anime around 1/3 of the way through and it only got worse as it went on.
Could also be because the anime only covers the two main routes and I went through all six routes when I played it when it came out, so there was more variety in content instead of the abomination fusion that is the anime. Not trying to defend the 0 VN or anything, the anime is just an absolute mess in comparison.
