Community? What community? This is /c/ we're talking about. It's comfy and a good repository for quietly sharing images collected from those websites you mentioned so other anons can look at them, but that's it. People who want to make it more than that are in the minority and questionably received at best, and I'm not even talking about the excesses of the previous thread, or those who contravene the most basic aspect of the board by not posting images when replying.
You'll have to explain yourself, preferably without the unneeded bitterness, because what you're seeing just isn't there.
