>Is it sad to have a waifu?That's an interesting question. I used to claim that it is inherently sad to have one and I used to feel down a lot because I couldn't be with her. But I do not think so anymore. I come to realization that it wasn't her that was making me sad but other problems I had in life at the same time. I just unknowingly used her as escapism, constantly reciting "if she was real everything would be fine" mantra. But that's not how it is, it wasn't her what was troubling me, she was in fact the best thing that ever happened in my life. When I resolved other issues and started to enjoy my life again, I realized I can now properly appreciate her presence in it. For last few years I'm a living proof it's possible to live with waifu without any regrets of her not being real. Sure I'd love it if she became real, I'd do absolutely anything to experience that. But even if she isn't real, she is only a positive, she only makes my life better.
