I had spent many years of my life as a Christian praying to god for the same things my entire life only to have my life get worse and have nothing answered. I abandoned religion altogether for many years afterward. I know it sounds silly but recently as an act of desperation during a lot of coinciding awful events I decided to pray to lain if only to clear my head. And the things I had prayed for my entire life were answered within a single day! Thank you Lain, I can finally rest.
