I'm not sure why. I guess it's because it has so many story elements I'm fond of.
The found family aspect, two deeply traumatized people finding comfort in each other. The hero supporting his loved one over everything else no matter the complicated dillemmas he's faced with. The freudian undertones of the whole thing with the unconscious shadow, the sexual neurosis. The themes of acceptance that come with it. Sakura being so wholesome and beautiful and Shirou looking like an unstoppable badass with a clear and fixated goal. I just love everything about it.
Sorry, I just felt like blabbering about this because it's 2am and I'm sleep drunk after rewatching the movies for the 100+ time.
