We've been long past the point where pretty much all the actually good Homu fanart (since what's been posted is nearly always fanart) available has already been posted at some point, unless it happens to be brand new content -- which has been coming at about as slow a pace as it has ever been, might I say, and nearly everything worthwhile is rapidly posted here anyways. Even the promotional art has been kind of slow coming nowadays.
Looking down on (emphasis mine) "old" content for being posted means forcing threads to move at a slower pace, which by itself doesn't matter either way unless the thread risks being bumped off before reaching image limit; but more importantly it means restraining available options for no good reason. Even if the art is good that would mean thread after thread would basically be Homu fanart by the same artists. But it's not like old content also being here is stopping anything, all of the new fanart gets posted anyway. What exactly is the problem on older content also being posted?
