I don't know if I would be one of the people who managed to will themselves back into existence after the third impact. Thinking about that question made me question my entire identity to some extend and the way identity works in the first place. When you think about it, identity is a lot less solid than we intuitively think. We exist less as a definite individual and more as a kind of blurred shape that is constantly changing and in exchange with its environment and our identity is like a line that we retroactively draw in our mind within that blur to differentiate ourselves from that environment that we come from and that we are still not seperated from. I guess to some extend there is a drive in us to return to that undifferentiated state that we come from and will return to one day.
