First new short since BlizzCon! And it’s -finally- a
D.Va episode! Her very first one, to boot! Activating hype sequence!

- Gives Hana some depth and shows her as something other than a cutesy, slang-flinging gamer girl
- Cool dogfight action sequence (I hope we eventually get something similar for the actual fighter pilot character)
Not-as-good-but-not-inherently-bad things:
- A bit short, and not as emotionally in-depth as Rise & Shine
- Feels like an isolated one-off; doesn’t really have any connection to the rest of the main plot, and ultimately doesn’t move anything along; neither Overwatch nor any other character is mentioned or referenced at all
Not my favorite one yet (but that’s an admittedly high bar to reach), but still very enjoyable. I’m glad they decided to handle it like this instead of doing something stupid like using a livestream as a framing device. And now, the wait resumes again.
