However, most people literally only know her from that one gif that was used in troll threads a few years ago and others probably only watched the anime once and didn't read the manga or LN, so they hardly know her at all and their opinions on her don't matter to me. It doesn't happen very often anymore due to her series lack of relevance, so I'm usually the only person who would bring her up in any capacity and I try to avoid engaging shitposters.
I've made the mistake of searching the archive for posts about her, I only got lots of negativity about her or her series that I couldn't even respond to which just made me feel bad, so I won't do that again.
However, I do feel the need to respond to posts about that rumor around the supposed "retcon" when that comes up. I really hate it when fake rumors of any kind are passed around as facts, but it's easy for me to debunk this rumor by pointing out there is no proof that it actually happened. It's the least I could do for her.
