>>3473238>simulated realities can be a lot more real than people imagine.Yeah, the guy in those videos did portray that pretty well.
>would the iteration of Sheik in that game/simulated world technically be a real enough Sheik for you?As I keep saying, it all depends on how they are capable of simulating her. If I follow the line of thinking that guy in the videos puts forward that the creators of the simulation could make the people and environment just good enough to keep me fooled, plus some voluntary things like hypnosis or drugs, I would probably believe that the simulation was the real world. If I am still able to remember what Sheik is supposed to be like and this simulated one is able to convince me that it is her, it probably would be good enough for me. Something would need to stand out to me for me to think otherwise. The simulated Sheik would need to do something that Sheik wouldn't do or say something Sheik would never say to get me to think otherwise.
But in all honesty, if I was in this near perfect simulation and I was honestly convinced that I was with the girl I love so dearly, I probably wouldn't think too much about this. I would be too overwhelmed with happiness and would be thinking more that I want to hug her, kiss her, and things like that. You know what I mean?
>given the awesome computing power of the device in the third video, I at least would think that any guess of what Sheik would be like would be very, very close.I would have to agree with you. That kind of device seemed to have overwhelming amounts of processing power. If it could exist, it probably wouldn't make any noticable mistakes in the simulation, especially for Sheik. I would probably be fully convinced.
>I just enjoy reading about the difficulty you have finding a scenario where a real Sheik could be foundThat sounds a bit mean don't you think? I know what you meant though.
>You put a lot of thought into herI have. I'm not lying when I say I've become obsessed with her.
