But yeah, I think her being "ordinary," at least relatively speaking, adds something to her charm. In P4 I really liked Chie, who actually mentions feeling unremarkable next to the other girls in your party but stands out with her personality.
Kawakami's also just really expressive, and you get to see her when she's tired, cheery, despondent, sarcastic, annoyed, sweet, etc.
And she's also this fun combination of flustered and playful if you go for her.
I feel like she has a ton of charm for a non-party option.
