It's possible to learn how to listen to music and appreciate it, but if you like shooting guns off without hearing protection or listening to loud noises, parties and rock concerts, then it's too late. As you age, your hearing diminishes. As you subject yourself to loud sounds, your hearing diminishes. There is currently no medical way to regain what you've lost to close proximity to an M80 firecracker.
