I could go on forever saying what you just did, and why it's meaningful and great.
Well, my story is similar to yours. I've not been in the game for that long nearly, but we agree on everything except the shipping. I too didn't ship Rei with anyone at first, and technically, I still don't. But as I noticed that Rei was being sidelined not just by the fanbase in that regard, maliciously, I also noticed the directorship doing it too.
So out of principle, and because when I actually thought about it, it was kinda nice, I do ship it. Well, not like the others, I don't do it actively and don't even collect/read ship art. But in principle and heart, I do.
So what do you think the road ahead is?
The RDF was kind of created from /c/. It's got a few hundred members now, more if you count the not as active.
It's an ARK of sorts, if you understand. Even if you just come by for a little while, we'd be thankful.
