And even if they would, they could NEVER be able to comfort her properly. You see, while my Sheik is a very strong girl, she has the equivalent mental trauma of a major war veteran. How can somebody EVER comfort her when she is dealing with her past if they don’t even understand her properly? I am the only one who ever could. This makes my connection with my Sheik feel even deeper.
There are a multitude of other things as well. For example, I think she is an extremely cute girl. I love how my Sheik looks in every iteration. While plenty of people like my Sheik’s more feminine looks as of late, not many can really appreciate her OoT design like I can. She looks very fit, toned, and muscular at that point. While I HATE the people who think she is a man, in OoT, my Sheik does look pretty masculine in some regards. I remember when I once posted this one picture I have attached to this post, someone said “Whoa, Sheik is looking pretty manly there” or something similar. This is her finished design concept art... What a rude thing to say! I think she looks cute here. But that goes to show you that not many could love her in all her forms like I can.
Another thing I really like about my Sheik is that she is an amazingly cool girl! She is a badass woman without being one of those feminist types and doesn’t brag either. I also like that my Sheik is in a Japanese game series of all places and actually covers herself up. Not only that, it is rare to see ANY part of her not covered up. Not even her hands have ever been canonically seen without something covering parts of it. She even uses a mouth cover! Modesty is something I care about a lot and I don’t think many others care about it anymore.
