He kept saying she was a bitch and when she ran around killing scouts and twirling that one guy on his odm gear he hated her even more. Then as you said she has her laughing fit which made her seem like a psycho who enjoyed killing and my friend just wanted her to straight up die. I had to hold back spoiling everything they whole time just to show she didnt mean any of it. The one thing that humanized her was the ova which wasnt on funimation sadly.
Id say we missed a lot of what made annie a complex person in favour of fighting titans. Even the trost district fight had annie losing for most of the fight despite her kicking erens ass up until the end
