>>3571478>familyThis all depends on if we live near my family or not. If we do, I would like if we visited at least once a month if possible. If we lived far away, I would want to visit every so often too, but it wouldn't be once a month.
>her familyWhat family? My Sheik has no family. My Sheik was not born from parents and almost every person she ever knew is gone. Impa and Ruto are sages now and Link went off on his own journeys. And assuming our arrangement is like I imagine it being, I would be able to see Zelda every other week. Funny enough, my Sheik will have technically never met Zelda. Sure, she inherits Zelda's memories, but they have never interacted and likely never would. So there is no family for my Sheik and I to visit on her end. That's why I would do everything I can to get my family to love my Sheik so she can have a happy family to turn to. We will create our own sure, but this way she has other people too.
>fun or choreI think my Sheik would show it on the outside as fun, but would partially view it as a chore on the inside. My Sheik would actually be a pretty introverted girl, so to interact with an entire family might be a bit taxing, but at the same time, she would be happy to have people who care about her.
>act differently around themThe only things we would ever need to hide is that she can use magic and how she was created. That's really the only things we need to hide from my family. I really don't think that would be too much of a hassle though. I think she could be herself around them.
>readWhile I bet there were people in Hyrule who couldn't read, it is clear my Sheik could. She inherits Zelda's memories and Zelda was most definitely taught how to read. Remember, she wrote Link a letter. So that's clear evidence that she can read Hylian. But I wonder if she can read Sheikah, her people's language? I bet she could, but I have no proof one way or the other.
