Does your waifu fit the archetypes you usually gravitate towards. For example, is your wife a genki girl even though you tend to be predisposed to tsunderes?
In my case, my waifu fits my tastes perfectly. She's a gentle, softspoken, not overtly feminine or tomboy-ish girl with a lot of hidden resolve. Also, she fulfills my kink for short hair.
