The Tohsaka Shrine was probably made for that reason too. Shirou stating that life isn't as fun without her around (wording is probably different) was a highlight as well.

Also the Edelfelt reveal was done through her London experience. You could probably do it with other methods but it is more fun that way.

I played it when the voice patch came out, which was like, 4 years ago? Maybe more? I don't remember when exactly but while it wasn't very long ago, it wasn't very recent either. Add to that the fact it doesn't get much discussions because there is no anime and because it's mostly SoL and comedy.
I think I remember most Rin's scenes though, but not to the greatest detail.
