Rei Q is utterly pathetic, with zero character, and she destroys a fundamental part of Rei's original character, i.e idea that Rei is the same across clones and maintains reason and character. Rei Q isn't even Rei.

>what did she do that was stupidAside from not knowing the definitions for the most basic of words, having absolutely zero agency beyond following orders or thoughts for herself, her actions don't have a single redeeming quality to it. Even her supposed moments of progression only begs the question: "why the fuck did she not think of this before?". It's pure melodrama crafted to make Rei as a being, as well as her role compared to others in the franchise seem as low and pathetic as possible.
This isn't even because of Rei's personal failures or flaws. It's a complete rewrite of the basic premise of the character, so that Rei is no longer Rei despite looking the exact same, being named the same.
