If we could see what happened in those seven years, there might be something, but I really doubt it. If she killed monsters, that is totally justifiable. I don't think she would ever harm anyone unless they were deserving of it.
This is of course if you don't count the manga. It's non-canon and my Sheik is different in it. But I love every form of my Sheik, so I should at least talk about it. You see, my Sheik pretends to work for Ganon and acts as a spy for him. There are quite a few differences from the game, but I'll gloss over some of the details here. Just know that my Sheik and Link meet with very different circumstances in the manga. My Sheik lies to Link and tells him that Zelda has been spotted in the Desert of Illusions. This causes Link to go there, but he nearly dies from the heat and lack of water, but she saves him and tags along. As they near Gerudo Fortress, my Sheik knocks Link out and hands him to the Gerudo. If you read on in the manga, you will see that she had her reasons for doing these things and that she redeems herself after revealing that she never was on Ganon's side. But even still, I'm sure some people will think that it was at least questionable for her treat Link like she did.
I know he probably won't read this, but I just want to apologize to the Saberfriend that I had falsely accused of insulting my wife earlier. I really should have realized earlier that this was a completely different anon and moved on. I just get so upset when my Sheik gets upset that I don't think straight. I'm glad that I didn't drive you away. The threads really aren't normally like that.
