I'm not sure if I can say the same for her own creators, but I've always known who Lena is, and even in my darkest moments I've never forgotten why I love her. Thankfully, I too am starting to feel more confident in her future since Storm Rising–for whatever other criticisms could be made of it, let’s set those aside–strikes me as the team's way of saying "Yeaaah, maybe dis-incentivizing people from caring about this character we've invested a ton of money and branding into wasn't such a good idea, and we should probably do something about that." The result may not be perfect, and it’s a shame that such an obvious lesson went unheeded for so long, but at least it seems to have gotten through and she finally appears set on a constructive trajectory again; and I thank you for your support.
All that said, this is one of the few sources of frustration and anxiety in my life, and I consider myself very fortunate for that. And yeah, that pic is one of my recent favorites; it radiates wholesomeness.
