Just take Hiro's newfound sense of direction and drive. That seems to have evaporated when you get a whole episode during the entirety of which he is either pushed over, or dragged along by other characters again. The only substantial step forward (and a tiny one at that) is that we see 002 trying (and failing, because she chooses to retreat away from them at the end) to get along with the rest of the team.
