>your own startup>saving one business and starting anotherNot often you hear people talk about this stuff (outside of you-know-where). Sounds quite interesting. Tell us more if you can.
>How would you like to see the Madoka Magica franchise continue, if at all?I'd rather it didn't. I like it when writers stop at their peak, and Urobuchi knew that letting doujin artists take over from where he left the main story is the best thing he could possibly do.
>How do you THINK it'll continue, if at all?I fear that one of these will come true:
>Urobuchi comes back but without any real heart left in it because he'd rather stick with his passion project, leading to an uninspired and forgettable entry that will slightly damage the series' reputation.>Urobuchi does not return, and the people who handle the new entry have far less psychological and philosophical knowledge than him, leading to a shocking mess that badly damages the series' reputation and undoes all the hard work done by both the main series and Rebellion.I think something will happen, because a project of sorts was announced and it's all but confirmed that it has nothing to do with MagiReco. I think they'll respect Urobuchi's wishes and not write a (poor) sequel, but I fear what would happen if I was wrong. It's been so long since Rebellion that, as much as I'd love to get a good, respectful, loving conclusion that is in line with what most doujin artists have come up with, I think the chance to write that sort of finale has long since passed.
