>>4384599Hah, I suppose you're right. I don't expect to ever be rich, but neither do I ever want to be dirt poor again. A cozy couch sounds quite nice right now, and I admit you're right too about the rest of it. The people at the top are miserable because they worship money and never can get enough of it. They are debauched hedonists. The lowest classes are miserable because all forms of social cohesion have withered away, leaving only the cold reality of how little they have compared to the extremely wealthy, whose lives they are now intimately familiar with thanks to 'social' media and smart phones. Hence why I engage with none of that. I focus only on what I myself can change and influence, and that is my own life. If the rest of the world should fall away? So be it, as long as I have a calm space for myself to rest at the end of the day, put my feet up, and laugh at the bullshit of the nonsensical world we have created. Is that a form of nihilism? Perhaps, but it seems realistic to me. I still seek truth and freedom, though while recognizing almost all alive are utterly blind.
Till Valhalla, brother.
