i fully agree with you anon, i'm not for lewd stuff being a common occurrence (nor do i get outwardly autistic about calling out specific images) on /c/ and anons shouldn't start screeching for the mods to come in and purify the thread but that isn't as common as it sounds. sure i've only been here for around 4-5 years but i'm also in around 70-90 threads on the board and recently i've only noticed arguing in 3 threads; mugi's just recently, this thread, and the brown elf thread that recently died but managed to get back on track and was a very solid thread. i could name countless threads right now that have /c/ style questionable content that continue on and have had no problems whatsoever even when a picture gets deleted; people just don't comment on the deletion and keep posting in a friendly manner, rarely i've even seen anons repost the image without acknowledging it or making a fuss about it and the thread goes on perfectly fine.the only time an argument breaks out is when someone calls it out and starts shitting on whoever could have reported the image, this causes a burst of back and forth shitposting that could be avoided
the monster girl thread never argued about it, the cyclops thread make use of crosslinking to /d/, i could go on for many other threads that have questionable content posted (hell some of them have stuff that never gets deleted and no one makes a fuss about it).
>tldrbasically that there is no group of puritans actively hunting down images and raiding threads, just don't make a big deal of mods doing mod things and just keep calm. /c/ is honestly fine imo but hey its just my opinion based off what i've seen. but yeah people need to stop crying over something that may be borderline questionable but at the same time the same should be said for people who activly call out deletions - from my experience, the thread only moves smoothly and avoids being derailed if both sides stay calm
