>>4289066I am one of those people who really adore the anime and think that even if the VN romance is better, it is only marginally so; and to be honest, I think the anime improves a few scenes somewhat. I think that the addition of the epilogue in London just really elevated the anime; it's a shame that I think that both the anime and the VN are required to exhaustively experience and appreciate Rin/Shirou. The anime excised a facet of the classroom scene between the two that is thematically connected to the final conversation between the two, whereas the VN feels incomplete without the anime epilogue.
