I understand Miyazaki approved -- but didn't actually want to see the movie. And I can understand that. Must be horrible watching someone else's work and thinking "good, but I would have held that shot another second" or "this scene could have been cut" or whatever.
Hard to simply enjoy a movie with Miyazaki's background.
