I don't think it should be called doujin, since it's more of an off-shoot 'alternate reality' somewhat akin to what was seen in the original Episode 26 (same with the Iron Maiden / GoS manga and games). But I could be wrong in that terminology's regard. And as I said it's definitely not a one-shot, it went on for years. It is parodic to an extent. But it also degenerates as it goes on from what I remember.
