On the other hand she often seems to have a hard time with her assignments and her biggest failures have happened whenever she's been tired or stressed out, but when she's motivated she managed to do something like win the pamphlet competition.
I'm not really sure how to take her weird ideas either. I don't think she's necessary dumb even though she seems to be the boke most of the time. She's probably just a weirdo, and sometimes it seems like she's just trying to joke but fails. She's childish and naive as well, her parents were very protective of her after all, so that plays a big part too. Also, she did say that she probably got into Yamabuki because of her academics, not because of her art talent, but I think she was only downplaying herself again.
The other girls seem a lot more straightforward as far as their skill levels go, except maybe Nori. She's their tech support most of the time, but I'm not sure what else she can do.
