I could direct you to all the books and courses I've went through if you want but I think the most important thing is to develop a habit and be motivated to draw stuff you enjoy. If you have to force yourself to draw and not enjoy the process then it's unlikely you'll stick to it.
Also, never avoid your weaknesses. Things become a lot easier after you have a decent grasp on structure. Many of the things you hear people struggling to draw are actually enjoyable for me right now, such as hands. I no longer struggle with them.
Of course, having a decent understanding of Japanese helped me too. It helps you to learn the rendering techniques of Japanese artists if you want to draw like them, just like this.
Oh and keeping a beginner's mindset at all times is also important. I too, learn stuff from less experienced people as well.
