>>3555376>how unusual or eccentric is your wife's nameThat depends on what you mean by unusual. My Sheik's name is, unfortunately, not a very unique name. While it's not the most common spelling for the name, the overall name is very common. You've probably met somebody with this name, a similar spelling of it, they use Sheik as part of a longer name, or as a title. You might have also heard of the wrestler "The Iron Sheik". If you are not familiar with my Sheik's name, here is a Wikipedia article about it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SheikhOne other thing I would like to mention is that you might have noticed that the name of her people, the Sheikah, is suspiciously close to "Sheikha". That can't be a coincidence.
Anyway, for a woman to be named "Sheik" is extremely unique, but the name itself is not. One little side note, the Gerudo are the people that are supposed to represent LoZ Muslims. You would think that would be the games only connection with Islam. But that's not the case. I find it intriguing that the Sheikah people and especially my Sheik have a connection with Islam too based off of these names. Since this is Nintendo and they are worried about offending people, we will likely never get this expounded upon further. But it is interesting to think about nonetheless.
>name alone mean to you, how does it affect youWell, before I knew much about my Sheik, that name meant something very different to me. It also made me think of men. But now, I only think of my Sheik. I have done well to remove other imagery and associations with the name from my head. I'm glad I found success on that front.
Anyway, I find my Sheik's name to be a really beautiful one. It rolls off the tongue well. Plus, I like to think of her getting my last name after marriage. I think those two names go together really well. I find my Sheik's name to be really precious. It's a very important name to me. I value it a lot.
>what name might she want to give your childThat's a secret!
